Meet Your Course Lead: Prof. Elizabeth Jerome

Elizabeth is an Assistant Professor at Atlas SkillTech University, specializing in Architecture & Interiors.

Graduate of CEPT University, where she earned a gold medal in the International Master of Interior Architectural Design (IMIAD). She participated in an exchange program at Lahti University in Finland, focusing on furniture and lighting design. Her master's research examined "Space-Making Elements in the Vernacular Houses of Kerala," covering the theoretical, social, cultural, sustainable and religious aspects of intimate spaces and their impact on individuals. She is currently researching "Rethinking Design Education to Bridge the Gap Between Academia and Practice" and has a strong interest in sustainability in design. With over 11 years of combined industry and teaching experience, Elizabeth has been teaching design students at ISDI for the past eight years, first as a visiting faculty member and later as an Adjunct-Assistant Professor.
